How to Turn Your Draft Order Reveal Into a League Event

Most leagues set their draft order in the least exciting way possible. The commissioner shuffles a list in private, posts a screenshot, and someone in the group chat calls it rigged before the image finishes loading.
It doesn’t have to go that way. The draft order is one of the few offseason moments that matters to every manager at once, so it deserves better than a screenshot. The best version is a reveal the whole league watches together, with a result nobody can redo or argue about.
That’s the idea behind Fantasy Draft Rumble.

What Fantasy Draft Rumble is
Fantasy Draft Rumble is a free fantasy draft order generator that turns the reveal into a pixel-art wrestling match. Every manager enters the ring as a wrestler. Wrestlers get tossed one at a time, and the eliminations become your draft order: the first one out picks last, and the last one standing gets the first pick.

A match usually runs two to five minutes. If your league wants a bigger show on draft night, you can stretch it, up to about 15 minutes with 14 or more teams.
It handles 2 to 32 teams, and it isn’t only for football. Basketball, baseball and hockey leagues use it too, along with keeper and dynasty leagues. Its homepage features analysts from FTN, Fantasy Points and Covers who have used it to set draft orders.
Why your league can trust the result
A fantasy draft order randomizer only works if everyone believes the result. Draft Rumble is built around that.
- One link, one result. The match is locked to its share link. Everyone who opens it sees the same wrestlers, the same eliminations and the same final standings. Refreshing or replaying it can’t reroll the order.
- Scheduled reveals. Pick a date and time, send the link ahead of time, and the whole league gets the same countdown. Then the match plays out for everyone at once.
- Nothing hidden after the fact. Any setting that shapes the order, like lottery weights, is printed in the final standings.

That last part matters more than it sounds. “Trust me, I ran it” is how league arguments start. A link that replays the same result for anyone, any time, ends them.
Weighted lotteries for dynasty and keeper leagues
Dynasty leagues rarely want a pure coin flip. You want the worst teams to have the best shot at the top rookie without simply handing it to them.
Draft Rumble’s Weighted Mode works like the NBA draft lottery. You give each team a number of lottery balls, and its chance at the top pick matches its share of the balls. If three teams have 75, 20 and 5 balls, they win 75%, 20% and 5% of the time. Every team’s ball count shows up next to its name in the final standings, so the odds are public.
A simple setup for a 12-team dynasty league:
- Put only your non-playoff teams in the ring.
- Give last place the most balls and step down from there.
- Run the match to set those picks.
- Slot the playoff teams after them using your league’s usual rules.
Weighted Mode is included in the free version.
Setup takes a few minutes
You can type team names, paste the whole list at once, or import your league:
- Sleeper: paste your league URL or ID. No login needed.
- Yahoo: one-tap sign-in.
- ESPN: public leagues need only the URL. Private leagues need a couple of browser cookies, and the app walks you through it.
One thing to know: Draft Rumble can’t push the order into Sleeper, Yahoo or ESPN for you. When the match ends, the commissioner copies the order into the league’s draft settings by hand. It takes about a minute, and the share link is always there to check against.
When it’s done, send the match replay or the final draft order image to the group chat.
What’s free and what’s paid
Running matches and sharing the results is free, with no account and no ads. If you skip the account, your roster lives in the share link itself and nothing is sent to a server.
The paid plans add the personal touches:
- One League ($19 a year): pick which wrestler represents each manager, upload face photos so your leaguemates are actually in the ring, reload your league next season without retyping it, and get a cleaner share link.
- Unlimited ($39 a year): your league’s name or logo on the ring apron, signature moves and top-rope dives, wrestlers that taunt in their own voices, your pick of fight music and announcer, lottery balls seeded from your Sleeper or Yahoo standings, and commissioner controls like locking a team into a draft slot. Locked slots are badged in the final standings.
Prices are as listed on the site in October 2026.
How to run your reveal night
- Pick a time when most of the league can watch.
- Set up the match and schedule it for that time.
- Drop the link in the group chat a day or two ahead.
- Watch together on Discord, Zoom or wherever your league hangs out. The countdown keeps everyone in sync.
- Post the final order image and enter the order in your league settings.
Then get ready for what always comes next.
Once the order is set, the trading starts
In dynasty, the reveal is the starting gun for pick trading. The moment the order is official, someone is going to ask what you want for your pick.
That’s also when the slot starts to matter. In our study of 28,168 real trades, an early first cost 62% more than a late one.
Before you answer that first offer, run it through our dynasty trade calculator. It prices players and rookie picks side by side, so you can see whether moving up, moving back or cashing out for a veteran actually helps your team.
