Puzzle #1 · Oct 2
How to play
- Start typing a quarterback, running back, wide receiver or tight end and pick the player from the list.
- Green means a match. Yellow means close: the right conference but a different division, a receiver for a tight end (or the reverse), or within two years of age, two inches of height or five jersey numbers.
- Arrows point toward the answer: up means the mystery player is older, taller or wears a higher number; down means younger, shorter or a lower number.
- Solve it in eight guesses or fewer. The daily player changes at midnight Eastern, and practice mode gives unlimited extra rounds.
Where the players come from
The pool is the roughly 270 quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends at the top of Dynasty Dealer’s 2026 season-long rankings, with teams, ages, heights and jersey numbers from nflverse weekly rosters.
The daily player always comes from the top 150 of that list, so it’s someone most fans will know. It’s chosen from the date, so every visitor gets the same puzzle, and no player comes up twice within 60 days. Players on injured reserve stay in the pool.
