How the waiver rankings work
The list starts from Sleeper’s trending adds — the players managers added most across Sleeper in the last 24 hours — and ranks them by rest-of-season value, so a hot name with a thin role doesn’t outrank a quieter player with a real job.
Rest-of-season values blend Dynasty Dealer’s 2026 projections with this season’s per-game production (nflverse), weighted by games played, and account for byes, injury designations and reserve lists.
The FAAB guide is a share of a full-season budget set by that rest-of-season value: 30 percent at 5,000 or more, 22 at 3,500, 15 at 2,500, 10 at 1,800, 6 at 1,200, 3 at 800 and 1 at 400; players on injured reserve get 2 percent at most. Adjust for your league: bid more when your roster has a hole at the position or when a rival is likely to bid.
Once Sunday’s games are final, the page moves on to next week’s waivers, and each pickup’s projection is for his next game.
What this tool doesn’t know
- Sleeper’s trending list covers all Sleeper leagues, not yours — sync your league to see who is actually available.
- Kickers and team defenses are listed by adds only, without values.
Frequently asked questions
Who should I pick up on the waiver wire this week?
Start with the top of this list at the position where your lineup is weakest. Sync your Sleeper league to see only players who are actually available to you.
How much FAAB should I bid?
Start from the FAAB guide on each pickup, which scales with his rest-of-season value. Bid above it early in the season, when your roster has a real hole at his position, or when a rival needs him too.
Does the waiver wire reset every week?
It depends on your league’s settings. Players usually sit on waivers until the weekly claims run, then become free agents. A rolling waiver order moves a manager to the back after a successful claim, a reverse-standings order resets each week, and a FAAB budget lasts the whole season.
