How the trade analyzer grades a trade
Every player carries a rest-of-season value on a 0–10,000 scale for your scoring (PPR, half or standard) and format (1QB or Superflex). It starts from Dynasty Dealer’s 2026 projection, built from each player’s last three seasons, and shifts toward his production this season as games are played: after three games this season counts for about 30 percent, after nine for more than half.
This season’s production is cleaned up before it counts. Touchdowns are pulled partway back toward the position norm because they are the least repeatable part of scoring, and expected games come from the schedule (byes), the official injury report and reserve lists.
The grade adds each side’s values, then applies two adjustments: a premium for true difference-makers, because one elite starter is worth more than two average ones, and a consolidation discount for the side sending more players, because bench depth has steep diminishing returns. - Values change when new game data arrives — after each week’s games and injury reports — so late-week news can lag.

How do I know if a fantasy football trade is fair?
Compare what each side gives up over the rest of the season, not over the whole year: who starts for you each week, how many games each player has left after byes and injuries, and whether you are trading two starters for one. A trade is graded fair when the two sides are within 3.5 percent of the bigger side (never less than 250 points), slightly uneven up to twice that, and uneven beyond it.
Which fantasy trade analyzer is the most accurate?
No one independently audits trade analyzers, so judge them on four things: whether the values update during the season, whether they fit your scoring and format, whether you can import your league, and whether the method is published. How do byes and injuries change a player’s trade value?
Rest-of-season values count only the games a player has left: a player whose bye is behind him is worth a little more than one still facing it, a player listed Out loses this week’s game, and a player on injured reserve is credited with 35 percent of his team’s remaining games.
